Bethany’s “Little Sibs Day” took place today, allowing younger siblings, friends, and cousins of current students to visit for the school day. Attendance was successful from an admissions perspective, totalling 41 visitors. This is one of the largest groups Bethany has ever seen for a Little Sibs Day.
Though the day’s schedule was fairly typical, a few special events took place. Emmaus kicked off their 2013 season in a special chapel performance of their show, “Dancing in the Rain.” The 4th and 5th grade Bible class, having doubled in size, spent their class time learning a special lesson from Eliza Stoltzfus. The class also gave a preview of their dance routine, which will be performed for the public later in the semester.
Rachel Sawatzky, director of admissions, was enthusiastic about the visitors who came to Bethany for the day. “I think they all had a good experience. Especially the younger ones who got to have a rad time with the 4th and 5th graders,” says Sawatzky with a smile.
The remaining two visit days this semester are on February 18 and March 18.
