I will be posting two to four new poems every other week. Please feel free to submit your poems to me and I will read over them and most likely post them. Please also tell me if you want me to include your name with the poem or not.
Enjoy!

Faces
They are everywhere,
On streets,
In stores.
The sky has a face.
It has many.
Â
They are the birds,
The clouds,
The sun beams.
Â
Most of us don’t see them,
They pass us,
Like a stranger on the street,
Unaware.

 Freedom In The Wind
 I look for you,
but you’ve disappeared.
Leaving me to drown,
my feelings swallowing me whole.
You went away,
left me to fade.
I didn’t know why, what to do.
So I ran out the door,
I took to the sky,
and I flew.
Away from the world.
Leaving the cage you trapped me in.
I soared to my freedom,
never looked back.
Free as a bird.
Free in the air.
I sail through the sky.
A freedom I never knew.
It fills my heart,
A new wonder.
Wind whipping my hair,
trailing me freely.
Saved by the wind,
not by you.
I glide through the air,
calm now.
For I have found,
Freedom in the Wind.

Caught
Darkness creeping in,
Pulling at my feet, like a weight.
Holding me back.
Â
This is my fear,
Getting too bogged down,
So I don’t notice,
Small gestures,
Everyday gestures.
Â
This is society’s curse.

Dreamy Night
That night…
That dream…
That wish…
That joy…
That mood…
Those are the feeling that scampered in my mind
If only that day…
If I had only listened…
That wouldn’t have…Happened…
If only that mouth of mine didn’t do it
He would still be here
His spiritual voice…
About cars…
So darkness is pain….
Â
If only…
That ended right
If only…
It didn’t happen…
That night…

MatterÂ
Have you ever noticed
the solitude?
The solitude that people carry
as they walk.
Â
They walk
Talk on their phones
Stare straight.
They never falter on their path.
Always working toward that end goal.
Â
Where are they going?
You wonder.
All those quick steps
heightened conversations
sunken eyes,
Â
that dart quickly
they take in everything yet
nothing.
Â
But you
you take in everything.
The sights
the sounds
the smells
and all these people.
Â
The people that don’t
matter to you,
you don’t matter to them.
But you think
all these people
matter.
Â
They matter to someone.

 Puffs
Â
Laying in the grass,
staring up into the sky.
It’s so blue. So vibrant,
With tufts of white
cotton candy.
Â
Condensation,
that’s all they are.
But the shapes,
the puffs.
Â
Seeing animals
people
cars.
Â
Like theres a whole
other life.
Cloud life.
Â
As if the clouds are living.
The all have a family,
a life,
a job.
Â
They don’t but have you ever
thought, what if they did?
