Your favorite Sightline writer took a photographic turn this week and attempted to capture pictures of fall. Fall sports are winding down, and there are thousands of multicolored leaves on the ground. It’s almost Halloween!!
at the Shanklin tunnel you can look up and only see sky and that one plant peeking over the railing
I just like how many colors there are on this one
It seems like this path should lead somewhere Really Cool, and it does.
This is my dog. And some leaves.
Fall looks different from the ground level.
I took this almost lying down.
I nearly called this photo essay “help, I’ve FALLen and I can’t get up”
Most of the low-to-the-ground shots were taken on the cross country course.
oooh mystical forest
I was walking by and there was suddenly this bright red car contrasting with the trees.
There was a British land artist (lol see earlier article) who did an art piece where he walked back and forth in a field and then took a picture of his temporary mark on the landscape. So did I, I guess.
I like how the streetlight’s glow is so warm in contrast to the gray sky.
Wow look a fall leaf tree!!
Here we have some dying flowers next to fallen leaves. Marigolds are so bright.
Turns out streetlights are hard to photograph?
I was standing on the red bridge and there were so many tree reflections.
It’s odd, there are leaves falling and yet so many small plants on the ground are still green.
