Carolina is a custodian at Bethany Christian. She has been working as a custodian for a while now and has enjoyed every moment of it. She loves working here and she looks forward to coming to school everyday. When you talk to her, you will realize that she is a really sweet and amazing person. Her kindness towards others and her outgoing spirit definitely shows a positive view at the school and you will realize that the smallest things she does around the school really makes an impact.
“I love working here.” She says, “What I like most about working here is the environment and seeing all the kid’s faces and smiles.” What she loves most about her job is interacting with teachers, students, and co-workers. Everyday she looks forward to talking to them. Although Carolina may not be seen by other students from around the school, I think that they should know that she is a part of the community as well. “I want to be there for the students even if they don’t know me as well.” she adds, “Even if the students are having a bad day, I always want to be there for them and talk to them.” She feels very connected to the school environment and is very blessed to be working there.
During Carolina’s free time, she loves to talk with her co-workers, the other custodians, at the school. She also enjoys being with her family and other friends at church. “I love making an impact for my church,” she says. “I think it’s important for me to help out with church services and my church community, and I enjoy it very much.” Carolina loves being with other people and helping out with services as well. Carolina not only cares for herself, but her surroundings as well through volunteering at services and small communities.
As a custodian, she makes a very positive impact towards our school. She is very helpful and always stays positive through the difficult situations that happen at Bethany. Carolina and the other custodians always help out around the school when needed, and it truly does make a difference. For even the smallest problems, such as fixing or cleaning the school, she is always there and makes a difference. Carolina is not only there when you need something to fix, but is also there if you need a friend. Her attitude, kindness, enthusiasm, and great personality impacts the school in a positive way. If you have a chance to talk to her, ask about her life and she will gladly tell you many stories. Or, just say, “thank you.” I’m sure she would appreciate the kindness from any student.
