While the high school boys tennis didn’t have one of its best seasons this year but it has improved greatly. Matt, the coach, said that especially in the last two weeks of the season, the team was playing some of its best tennis. Although they did get more wins in the second half of the season, Matt believes that in even some of their losses the quality of play was much better.
The team ended its season against Goshen in sectionals and put up a good fight, winning more games within those matches than they had in the regular season. Goshen was upset by Northwood in the next round of sectionals and Northwood was upset by Fairfield in the sectional final. The team is hoping for a better sectional and overall season next year.
