It’s finally soup season! The autumn has always been one of my favorite times to eat soup, so in honor of this, here are some soup recipes I found online for you to try! There will be links to them at the bottom of the article.Â
THAI RED CURRY CHICKEN SOUP
This cozy soup requires red curry paste, a red bell pepper, an onion, coconut milk, fish sauce, chicken stock, shredded cooked chicken, basmati rice, and cilantro. Many of the comments say to add more red curry paste than it says, though, so do with that what you will.
GENEVA’S ULTIMATE HUNGARIAN MUSHROOM SOUP
According to the creator, this soup pairs very nicely with multi-grain bread, and tastes really good on the second day. This soup requires butter, onions, mushrooms, fresh dill, Hungarian sweet paprika, soy sauce, chicken broth, skim milk, flour, tomatoes, Hungarian wax peppers, salt, pepper, and sour cream! more. Remove the Hungarian wax pepper and tomato and discard before serving the soup.
GARDEN FRESH TOMATO SOUP
I actually just made a pot of this myself, and it is very good if you like tomato soup! I added a lot of basil and pepper, though. It takes tomatoes, onions, cloves, chicken broth, butter, flour, salt, and sugar. It’s a SOUPer easy recipe and very filling.
QUICK AND EASY CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP
This simple recipe calls for butter, onions, celery, chicken broth, vegetable broth, chicken breast, egg noodles, carrots, basil, oregano, and some salt and pepper! Perfect for a sick day.
COPYCAT PANERA BROCCOLI CHEDDAR SOUP
Panera’s broccoli cheddar soup is one of my all-time favorite soups, so I couldn’t pass this recipe up! It takes butter, onions, flour, milk, chicken stock, broccoli, carrots, celery, sharp cheddar cheese, and some salt and pepper!
MY BEST CLAM CHOWDER
I really like clam chowder, too, so let me know if you try this! This recipe calls for minced clams, onion, celery, potatoes, carrots, butter,flour, half-and-half cream,red wine vinegar, and some salt and pepper.
LENTIL SOUP
I remember during exam week last year, I asked Elisabeth to make soup for our English class, and she brought some amazing lentil soup! This probably isn’t the same, but it’s good nonetheless. It needs onion, olive oil, carrots, celery, garlic, oregano, bay leaf, basil, tomatoes, lentils, water, spinach, vinegar, and some salt and pepper.
MISO SOUP
Miso is one of those really nice sipping soups, so I’m excited to try this one out! It takes dashi granules, water, miso paste, silken tofu, and green onions.
SUPER-DELICIOUS ZUPPA TOSCANA
I’m actually not sure what zuppa toscana is, but it seems fun! It needs Italian sausage, red pepper flakes, bacon, onion, garlic, chicken broth, potatoes, heavy cream, and spinach.
GRILLED CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP
Here’s some more chicken noodle soup for those off days! It calls for vegetable oil, chicken breast, carrots, frozen green peas, chicken broth, celery, red onion, mushrooms, and egg noodles.
ABSOLUTELY ULTIMATE POTATO SOUP
I’m sooo excited to try this one out, I love bacon and potato soup! This soup needs bacon, celery, onion, garlic, potatoes, chicken stock, butter, flour, heavy cream, dried tarragon, cilantro, and some salt and pepper.
THE BEST THAI COCONUT SOUP
I’ve never had or even heard of coconut soup, but it sounds really cool so here you go! It calls for vegetable oil, ginger, lemongrass, red curry paste, chicken broth, fish sauce, light brown sugar, coconut milk, mushrooms, shrimp, lime juice, and salt.
