Get to Know Madison Swartzendruber

Madison is one of our newest additions to Bethany’s faculty team and also an alumni! We interviewed Madison and asked her about…

  1. What she does in her free time
  2. Why she decided to work at Bethany
  3. What she was involved in a student
  4. Her favorite things
  5. What she is looking forward to do as an employee

Get to know her by reading some interesting facts about her!

In her free time, Madison enjoys relaxing by playing video games, taking care of her plants, baking, or watching YouTube series. Her current favorite game is Toontown Rewritten, and her favorite YouTube creators include Smosh, Good Mythical Morning, and Safiya Nygaard.

Madison made the decision to work at Bethany because she was already involved in Bethany’s community through theater and the Alumni Council. Working here allowed her to be more fully committed to those things and the community!

When Madison was a student at Bethany, she was a part of theater, Concert Choir, the Emmaus performing arts troupe, Volleyball (playing, then managing in later years), and Sightline during her senior year. She was also involved in some less frequent activities such as Phonathon and playing Donkeyball.

Some of Madison’s favorite things include The Hunger Games (both the books and movies), the season of fall, and music! Her favorite musical artists include Troye Sivan, LAUNDRY DAY, and Coldplay. Madison adores her cat, Sable; and– much like another member of the Bethany faculty–coffee!

Madison is looking forward to working for Bethany so she can continue to help students and families navigate academic changes in their lives, and so she can be closer to the community she was already so connected with. She’s excited to bring in new students and help them find a place where they feel known and loved!

In a soon-to-be-released article, we will be interviewing Dustin Wyse-Fisher–Bethany’s new marketing director!

Stay tuned!
